Catholon 4.00 · Biblioteca · Phase B
One library, every preserved witness
The Biblioteca now distinguishes authors, works, language expressions, editions and physical source witnesses without replacing the readers or URLs that already work. A source is never hidden merely because its attribution, edition or textual quality still requires review.
Preservation and identity
The installed corpora, reconciled without deletion
Phase A recorded every file. Phase B adds the bibliographical layer above it. One work may have several languages, editions and witnesses; one collection file may contain several works. These relations are many-to-many and do not flatten Scripture, Magisterium, Fathers, theology, philosophy and historical sources into one authority level.

Works and physical witnesses
The normal view loads reconciled work families. The full view also shows explicitly marked review cases and the catalogue, report and reader infrastructure that Phase A preserved as physical evidence.

Editorial method
What Phase B proves—and what it does not invent
Identity before layout
Stable author, work, expression, edition and witness IDs are established before any mass replacement of the existing readers.
Real texts only
A language or edition is listed as readable only when a corresponding local witness exists. Metadata-only and scan-only records remain visible under their honest status.
Authority stays distinct
Source rank, document form and doctrinal qualification are separate fields. Technical inclusion never grants doctrinal approval or equal authority.
